There are countless number of Producer Beat Battles and big conferences around the country.

However, we decided to do something different for the producer community that will give back and elevate upcoming producers to another plateau.

The Urban Producer Awards is designed to give accolades to producers of all levels.

HOW TO SUBMIT BEAT SAMPLES FOR NOMINATION CONSIDERATION FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL URBAN PRODUCER AWARDS

Rules and Regulations For Sumbission for the 1ST ANNUAL URBAN PRODUCER AWARDS

PHASE 1: SUBMISSION PHASE

In order to compete, producers must submit a 2 to 3 beat samples, a typed biography including a photo, and a non-refundable $50 processing/entry fee via email.

PHASE 2: NOMINATION PHASE

The call for entries will close as of Feb 20, 2010. A nominating committee appointed by the executive board will review the submissions. Once the committee has reviewed the submissions, they will choose no more than 4 producers per category for nomination. The nominations will be released on March 5th, 2010. The nominees will be contacted and notified of their nomination. A producer can be nominated for more than one category.

PHASE 3: FINAL VOTING PHASE

The winners of the Urban Producer Awards are determined via Online voting by the general public. A music clip and the name of each nominee within the individual categories will be placed on Producer Palace.com. On March 10th, 2010, the public will be able to vote for the nominees of each category via online voting on Producer Palace.com. The voting process ends on April 10th 2010. The nominee who receives the most online votes will win for the category he/she is competing in.

7. Best Producer/Artist Mashup

14. Best Software for Production

15. Best Equipment for Production

16. Best Produced Radio Show/Mixshow

17. Most Dynamic Producer of the Year

18. Most Exciting Producer of the Year

19. Impact Award

20. Best Production Shopping Website

21. Weapons of Mass Production Award

PHASE 4: THE OFFICIAL 1st ANNUAL URBAN PRODUCER AWARDS CEREMONY

The votes will be tabulated and the winners will be presented awards at the 1st Annual Urban Producer Awards ceremony to be held in April 2010 as part of the Urban Producer weekend in NYC. Venue TBA. Each winner will receive an official Producer Palace Award Trophy. There will be special guest performances, producer showcases, and beat auctions. In addition, you can expect a blazin' after-party following the award show.

Below are additional rules and regulations:

--Each Beat Sample must be an original recording (Samples are allowed). --Only a max of three beat samples can be submitted per producer. -- The Beat samples must be of superior sound quality. --No submission will be processed without the $50.00 non-refundable entry fee. --Rules and regulations are subject to change. --In order to preserve the integrity of this competition, family members and friends of the staff of Producer Palace.com and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate.

Inorder to submit material to be considered for the nomination pool for the Urban Producer Awards via email, first read the online submission disclaimer below.

The material that you are submitting to Producer Palace contains no viruses. 7. Producer Palace will not be held liable for any claims, demands, losses, expenses, costs, or liabilities which you or your heirs may have in conjunction with your participation in this submission process. 8.You further warrant that you are the producer or authorized agent of the producer. 9. Producer Palace will not process any online submission without the non-refundable $50 entry fee paid via Pay Pal.
